More Info:
Michael O'Hara is a 4-time Grammy nominated songwriter who began his career at the age of six. After years of writing and performing, O'Hara decided it was time to come back to his roots for his latest solo project. He created his "Micha Billy" persona when his co-writer (Mary Unobsky) suggested they write an Elvis Presley style song, "Boy From Tupelo". Micha Billy is also a way to pay homage to Elvis Presley who O'Hara was lucky enough to meet in person after winning a recording contract with Stax Records in St. Louis, at age 9. During O'Hara's recording session, Presley walked in and told O'Hara, "Son, you're writing incredible songs about life experiences you have yet to go through."back to top
