The Dublin-born singer- songwriter got her first big break when she performed on "Later with Jools Holland," after which she signed with Universal Music and was dubbed a rising star of 2009 by Hello Magazine. Her cool but quirky 1950's signature style fits perfectly with her unique Jazz/Rockabilly/Blues fusion with a contemporary twist. Imelda has shared a stage with Van Morrison, Scissor Sisters, Kirsty MacColl, Alison Moyet, Eartha Kitt, Dionne Warwick and Lionel Richie.
