Blunt's sophomore album, ALL THE LOST SOULS, displays a huge musical growth from his smash hit debut, BACK TO BEDLAM. These new, more mature songss, recall the sounds of Elton John, Cat Stevens, and Neil Young. In addition to being and excellent album, ALL THE LOST SOULS is packed with singles. Includes the smash hit single "1973".Reviews:
We'll be Blunt: If we ever have to hear "You're Beautiful" again, somebody's gonna die. Horribly. Of course, that's not the dashing UK soloist's fault. Every halfway decent artist and their halfway decent singles are overplayed, from Outkast to Gnarls Barkley to Rihanna. What's different here is that James is, of course, a thin white duke of a Brit, the first since Sir Elton to tug so tightly on our American heartstrings. Our man conjured the Bee Gees early and often on the remainder of 2005 breakout Back to Bedlam, so we're hoping for a little more guitar bombast on this follow-up. He's been debuting new cuts like "Same Mistake" and "Annie," as well as new single and album leadoff track "1973" on tour. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, downloaders! Actually, wait, no, we were just kidding! Cease and desist!Click here for the Awesome MVI version
